I'd like to consider myself a "forgiving audiophile." These speakers suck. I can guarantee the majority of the reviewers here are gamers, or people who don't know how to listen to music. I got a pair of these to upgrade my 10 year old Altec Lansings. They turned out to be a huge downgrade. The midrange in these speakers is almost non-existent. The bass is huge, the treble is huge, the midrange is nowhere. It sounds like I'm missing half the song.
