I am using this center speaker with a 5.1 surround system connected through a Pioneer VSX-1019AH receiver. The voice track from DVDs is clear and blends well with the rest of the system that includes a JBL ES150PBK 300 Watt Powered 10" Subwoofer, JBL ES20B 3-Way Bookshelf Speaker for surround and my trusty old JBL L100s for main speakers.
