The speakers sound great but the small subwoofer sounds boomy and distortion is audible.Finally I hooked these speakers to my old B&W ASW300 subwoofer connected with a Cambridge Audio Receiver model AZUR 540R (receiver crossover set to 120 hz) and bingo!That is why I can only give these system 3 stars!Get more detail about Klipsch HD 300 Compact 5.1 High Definition Theater system (Set of Six, Black).
