This was installed in a Toyota Corolla under the front seat. Instructions were clear and unit is nicely made. The factory Corolla speakers consist of 2 6"X9" rear speakers, 2 front door speakers and 2 tweeters located up high next to the dash. It doesn't sound too bad but I was looking for more deep bass. This Kenwood powered sub does not fit the bill as I suspected when I bought them. They are good for mid bass but if you crank them up they will distort. I leave the volume control at about a quarter, and the frequency about half way to add some fill in.
