I bought these speakers to go with my dvd player that needed new speakers. When I opened the box they were brand new in a carton, They are authentic Sony speakers just like on the Sony website!! After I got speaker wire and hooked them up I WAS SO IMPRESSED. The sound is awesome, I might even get some for my mom and little brother for Christmas. What an awesome product !
