Those trusty speakers were bought in the 70's while I was in my teens. I had to rebuild the crossovers and replace the woofers years latter. I had no idea what I was missing. Old school JBL's from the late 70's and early 80's were amazing. Huge powerful towers! I have always wanted a pair. I really did not know that JBL was still in business until I saw them advertised. The price was one that I could not pass up. These 4-way tower speakers are absolutely great! They look and sound amazing. I wish I would have bought them a few years ago but the price I paid for them I am glad I waited. I got a great deal, basically half-price! The only gripe I have is one of the speakers that I had shipped to me was damaged during shipping but I was sent a replacement at no cost 4 days latter. They sound great at all volume levels. They are clean, clear and crisp and the bass can be felt all over. One word description, WOW! I am now a believer that JBL is just as good now as when I was drooling over them many years ago.
