I have had this sub for a few weeks now and I couldn't be happier with it. We have a very large great room with 18' ceilings and it fills the room with thunderous bass effortlessly. It has no problem putting out low rumbling bass found on movie soundtracks but what is most impressive is how much 'punch' it has when playing music...it is very tight. And like another reviewer noted, your wife will love how small it is.
