Great speaker, sounds as good as it looks. Very easy to mount. I seem to hear every little detail in the movie, backgound talk, a car door closing, or phone ringing. My old speakers were good, but what a difference.
Only down side, I had problems putting the wire in speaker terminals (a minor thing). Can't wait to replace the rear surround speakers with the Control Now in my media room.

I bought this system to replace a fading surround sound system. It took a few weeks before we got to set it up and from the beginning, the surround sound just didn't work quite right. The wireless speakers cut in and out like bad cell phone reception. I kept thinking I would re-connect things and it would be ok. Since we dont actually watch movies a lot, it was at least 3 months before we noticed that the DVD player was skipping and not playing disks. Of course it was too late to return, so we sent it back into the company for repairs(spending lots of $$$$ to do so)...and guess what? We got it back, played about 6 movies and it has stopped playing them again. ARGGGG Frustrating to spend so much money on something that has never really worked!!! The RHT Sony Sound Bar was the perfect solution for the sound system for our Wall mounted 52" Sony LCD. It is great looking, compact and produces very nice sound from the TV Signal, DVD, IPOD ( When you buy the cradle) and FM/ Input sources. The neat thing is the way it senses the input and will automatically switch sources. I have an aux. sub woofer, which I would recommmend. There are NO rear speakers to wire or buy. As I said above, the sound quality is good!, Good enough for me and is a reasonable trade-off for looks and simplicity. If you are a serious audiophile, you will probably want a conventional theater system. If you are like me and watch TV and ocassional movies, you will be very impressed.

Sony is great, I looked at other sound bars, but defaulted to the Sony brand and the Bravia system that all my comopnents have.

If you wall mount this, you may want to purchase some 90deg. HDMI adapters. It makes the cableing of the HDMI wires easier.
