SpeakerCraft AIM7 Three 7" AIMABLE INCEILING SPEAKER (EACH) Top Quality

I have 4 of these installed in my living room along with 3 matching in-wall and a subwoofer. They sound great with 85 pure watts. The ability to aim the speakers gives you great sound in almost any room. I have tried them out without my subwoofer, and the bass is OK(good for in-ceiling). These are a great set of speakers that can be had without breaking the bank.Get more detail about SpeakerCraft AIM7 Three 7" AIMABLE INCEILING SPEAKER (EACH).

Dual 5" Cinema Sound Series 2-WAY 150-WATT Center Channel Speaker This instant

So having the CST55's and a CSS55 for roughly two years using the TV as a center channel, I finally put the CSC55 in. I use the theater system only on my PS3 to game and watch movies in VIA the fiber optic cable.

In regards adding the matching center channel to the towers, I find that it really brings out the midrange more and fills the room with a more natural sound. Immediately I noticed with movies that voices were far clearer and balanced. For gaming, I can't believe I went so long without it as the power of sound that this speaker produces it unbelievable.

Visually, this unit as it is a very sleek and attractive. The only thing I didn't like about it is that it lacks and product documentation or hardware for wall mounting.Get more detail about Dual 5" Cinema Sound Series 2-WAY 150-WATT Center Channel Speaker.

The sound space created by this design, coupled with the full range of these speakers is outstanding. They passed the "Mannheim Steamroller Fresh Aire 4" test with ease. I am very pleased. Get more detail about Definitive Technology BP7006 120v Tower Speaker (Single, Right Channel, Black).

Polk Audio RTi6 High Performance Bookshelf Speakers (Pair, Black) Best Quality

These were my first polk speakers. I use them as sides along with a csi3 center, fxi3 backs, and a velodyne sub. They're okay, but in a medium-sized room, they definitely need the help of a sub (and I'm not the type who needs wall-shaking sound). Otherwise, they don't produce much bass and the sound is kind of hollow. These aren't bad, but maybe my expectations were too high. JBL Venue Series Monitor 5-Inch 2-Way Speakers (Pair) Get it now!

I have listened and researched much audio equipment before I decided to buy these and I am impressed with these JBL's. They are only 2 way speakers but as rear surround speakers these will help develope the depth of surround sound that you are looking for. As front speakers, I would personally not use them. I am looking into JBL's 3 way - 6 inch drivers for the front speakers. All in All these are spectacular for the price, they look good, and are well built. Bic America Msrpro6 6.5-Inch Weather-Resistant Muro Ceiling Speakers Order Now

I wanted to get rid of my ancient Infinity surround speakers hanging out of the middle of my living room ceiling. The whole thinking about surround has also changed over the past decade and rear speakers are no longer looked at as low-powered speakers used to just round out the sound but rather as important components in faithfully reproducing the dedicated signals sent via today's 5.1/7.1 systems. In other words, 3-inch drivers with a peak of 75W was no longer acceptable.

I looked at a wide range of flush-mount speakers from the higher end on the money spectrum as far as my budget (Energy, Klipsch) to the low (AudioSource, Pyle) and everything in between. I had almost settled on some Polks when I saw a listing for these 6.5 inch Muros and did some research on them. The range on these BICs was better on the low end (down to 40Hz and opposed to 55Hz) and the power was slightly higher (125W to 100W). I've had a pair of bookshelf speakers from BIC for a long time that are still going strong so I decided to give these a shot; it was really a no-lose situation getting a $300 pair of speakers for such a low price. Also, the Florida sun beats down on our roof in the summer and the attic temperatures get amazingly hot to I figured going with a weather-resistant speaker wouldn't be a bad thing, either.

Very happy with these. I noticed as soon as they were delivered that they had a nice weight to them due to the substantial hardware and magnets. The posts are gold-plated and the cones are a tough polygraphite. Installing them couldn't have been easier - push one or two of the screws from behind to release the grill, cut a hole in the ceiling using the included template, attach the speaker wire, place the speaker into the hole and simply tighten the 4 screws. Done. Took all of 20 minutes. Another nice touch was the inclusion of two sets of grills - one paintable metal pair and another pair that is covered with white fabric. I went with the fabric but the metal looks fine as well.

I ran full stereo through them for a few days to break them in with some CDs and they really do sound wonderful. I didn't expect such a rich sound from 6.5s but, paired with a subwoofer, they are proving quite capable. Not audiophile by any means, but I'd say they sound just as good as the $400 Polks I tested. I wouldn't hesitate to use these outside on the deck or in the ceiling if wiring a different room in the house. As far as surround sound with DVDs, they reveal so much more than the small Infinity pair they replaced - much fuller spectrum, and the highs are clean with the tweeters aimed toward the couches in front of them.

For $300/pair, these are very good speakers - every bit as good as the Polks, in my opinion and actually better going purely off the specs. But for $77/pair?!? You'd be crazy not to grab these. You'll be very satisfied. You could spend more, I guess, but I don't know why?!?Get more detail about Bic America Msrpro6 6.5-Inch Weather-Resistant Muro Ceiling Speakers.
